Yeah you know...

To be truthful, I've only procrastinated on posting on LJ because the more of my life goes by without posting, the more I feel like I have to tell you guys EVERYTHING that happened in the meantime (summer, Japan trip, Halloween, One Piece) but whatever, maybe I'll get to that sometime ( Read more... )

what's up

I am happy to see you post!! XD you can always just post about whatever's going on right now.

I've had plenty of cosplay hiatus... It's just how it is. Cosplay really is at the bottom of the priority list once you start having more and more responsibilities and things to do... Even just hanging out with friends is better most of the time. :/ I still enjoy making the costumes, but sometimes I wish the costumes would finish themselves, especially when I just don't feel like dedicating the time.

One Piece<3 I've given up on the anime, I just catch up on the manga once a year. So amazing <3.

Yeah I know... I feel like it's pretty lame for me to work on cosplay instead of hanging out with friends. But then I seem to end up being out so much that I kinda wish I could stay home more... -_-;

I also have this stigma nowadays where I don't really want to work on stuff that I won't wear much. I still have all these cosplays piled up in storage and it becomes a factor to whether I work on a cosplay.

I looooooove all the seiyuu so I can't give up on the anime. xD And there's some reallyyyy amazing animation.

I really need some motivation to finish CCD... -_-;;;

Aah... I do understand. Being social... even the time it takes up to go out (especially for you, since you live so far) is exhausting. =__= For me, I find writing fanfiction is the most relaxing stay-at-home thing. I can just have my "me" time when I write.

:/ I hear you on the cosplay pile up... it's why I decided I would only make costumes that I knew I was happy with wearing by myself, so that I could wear them more often. -__- So much work for something only worn once or twice is painful... I hardly have any pictures for some of them, even. ^^;;

XD I want to watch the OP anime eventually, but I think I'm like 500 eps behind...? XD;;; I ... don't think I've ever tackled that many... OTL

:3 I'll see when Colleen plans to finish CCD and then we can coordinate better on when to wear it? :D It would be awesome if we could all wear it for cherry blossom photos!

YES I KNOW there's so many of my cosplays recently that I have like NO pictures of... T_T;;;

I read your posts, Alice!!

I'm on a cosplay "break" too for a number of reasons but it's still a fun hobby that isn't going away anything soon for me. I always think your stuff is wonderful!

I've been reading the One Piece manga recently (since the anime would take up way too much time). I have a looooooong ways until I'm fully caught up (I think where I last left off they finally made it to the Grand Line) but I'm enjoying it so far. :)
