...I actually haven't tried that. Tell me more...

I am not quite sure how to tell the teacher. I dropped his class and he doesn't have any office hours. And I am too scared to send him an email from my parents computer because I would have to check it from there and I would rather dislike having my parents try to kill me.

XP directions here.

Um, can you use a public computer, or email his TA? That's about all I can think of. Emailing him won't give you a virus, just opening any attachments in his reply.

Uhmm, if you haven't yet, try doing a system restore. Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Pick a day BEFORE you opened the email. (Any day) I remember I accidentally installed a trojan/spyware thing called IEMonster, but I did a system restore, and it undid all the bad stuff that happened, and I quickly installed an antivirus program, lol.

If that doesn't work, you could try visiting the tech people at ACM?

http://acm.lsu.edu/

??? Or go tot he library and ask them if they can point you to the techie people? because I know there's a place on campus where you take take them your laptop, and they'll just help you with spyware/ etc but. .. yeah.

Uhm, I hope that helped.
