In fact the speed remain always to 0 in both UL and DL!!
Another software says "You have a lowid. Please review your network config and/or your settings."

Hmmm...is this problem only wiht bitcomet? I have azureus and it usually works really well. I, too, can't use bitcomet. It never works for me.

try completely removing it from your computer and re-download it and reinstall it. sometimes files become corrupt, or it just might be that there's a bug in it.

unfortunately i think so!
i have only the windows firewall and i tried to "de-activate" it. but the problem persist.
the strange thing is that my brother use the same modem connection and the same software, but he don't have this problem. ç____ç

I don't really know myself but if it says "lowID" means there's a majorID, a priority ID (maybe your brother's PC...)
I understand that maybe your bro's PC is priority so you go second so don't succeed in UL/DL~
but I repeat I don't know, that was just an idea! that could explain why there's the message asking for checking connection settings

yes! there is a low ID and a normal ID. the low ID depends to the fact that my TCP port doesn't work correctly and so the servers don't succeed to connect to me ('cause the port is like..closed!!)
i tried to open the port manually but the situation didn't change :(
