Today went well...besides tripping while handing out the syllabus...damn carpet. I'm taking Prof. S.'s undergrad course on early American women. I've wanted to work with her and I basically have her all to myself...she's so cool and encouraging. Like a Meg Lota. Anyway, things are looking up. I have to make a decision on my committee soon .... and
