out with the old?

Yesterday, on a whim, I started gmail, lj, and okcupid accounts under a new user id. I don't have any particular reason to switch; I think I just like the idea of a fresh start.

Does anyone have compelling reasons why I shouldn't start using the new accounts? I'm undecided.

If I decide to move to the new name, I will post it on this journal, and keep this one around for people to find me. I'm still not sure I'll move though, which is why I haven't said.

Yay suggestions! I'm not sure why it hadn't occurred to me that I could get free, quick anime on the internet. Since I have an otaku friend, I even know one of the better specialized sites to do so - crunchyroll.com

Time is still a slight obstacle. I can't watch at work, and at home I'm always behind on seven or eight things I want to do, plus cleaning. But I really like the suggestions here, so I will make an effort to start getting my anime education underway. Thank you!
