Hello tenth_fic community! Since the community is still small in number and growing, things have been pretty quiet. So I thought I'd kick it off with some Hitsugaya fic! I just got back from spending far too much money on Bleach merchandise at Anime Expo, and I'm in the mood

I *adore* this fic. Absolutely and positively adore. You have managed to take the calm cool shell that so many people represent as all that Hitsugaya has and you have given it depth. You have made him into such a loveable and wonderful charcter in this story and there is nothing but amazing love for me and this story.

I have been following this on ffn I am such a horrible reviewer there and honestly you are one of my favorite authors and writers solely because of what you have been able to do with this story.

I LOVE how you brought Hyourinmaru into this and how Hitsugaya discovered his shikai. It was amazingly fitting and appropriate and I imagine that if Kubo were to write us such a thing that it would have been something like this.

I also like his response to everything, the coolness, the genius that is starting to peek and the need to know things.

Again - you have created such an amazing story here. I can not wait to see how you continue this (here and on ffn!).

I've encountered your fic before on ff.net (I'm guilty of not having reviewed, but I wanted to wait until I had re-read it and gotten over the first wave of OMGSQUEEGOODHITSU-FIC-ness before I did) and am convinced you make up one of the BNFs of Bleach Hitsu-fic-writing fandom. =P

Apologies for the over-enthusiastic comment and the lack of review here -- I will definitely be back with my two sen's worth though after re-reading this (again)! =D

First of all, thank you very much. :) Secondly, please don't apologize for not reviewing; I'm guilty of the same sin too much of the time. Sometimes the days just seem to busy, and fanfic reading is guilty pleasure as it is. Heheh. Thirdly, I'm glad you found it at ff.net, because as you can see I've been too scatter-brained to actually get the rest of it posted here on tenth_fic, though I've been meaning too. I think mostly I've been feeling guilty about... er... not having, you know, actually finished the story

I insist on apologising because I try to make it a point to leave concrit whenever I can, and fic as enjoyable as yours deserves to be declared such! Compliments to the chef, as it were. =D (So meanwhile, your fic is going to be my bedtime story for tonight so I can review properly tomorrow!)

It figures that you wouldn't anonymously leave a comment like that -- you might want to be wary of this person who claimed your fic as theirs. Although at least they left themselves as anonymous, if that's any consolation...?

Thanks re: academy!Hitsu =P (I personally see it as him finally stealing forty winks after working too hard and trying too hard to do the "sleep is for wimps" thing...) He was fun to draw and I'm planning to do more anyway since there's plenty of normal Taichou!Hitsu out there. Your fic will definitely help with the inspiration! (You can probably expect fanart for your fic from me! :P)
