Finally have a result! Rachel's appeal was successful and the embassy has overturned their original decision. While they were making their decision I booked a flight to fly to the US in November. Hoping now to book another ticket so we can travel back to England together. We've got a lot of planning to do for a wedding in January.

I have spent a little while today helping Rachel fill out her Visa application form via the UK4Visa website. It was fairly straight-forward, though expensive, process. I have about 17 hours of work still to go, more than half a week and three days to do it in. Shouldn't be a problem. I have lots more study to do though, ready for Monday. I have to have one assignment practically finished by Monday.
