In a mad-cap caper of timing and luck I've been invited to give a talk in Puerto Rico --- next week! In Old San Juan. Never been --- it looks lovely.

And it's just the sunshine my hypothalamus has been yearning for.

Now, must write that talk!

Anyone know anything about Puerto Rico?

It's a U.S. protectorate. And according to the commercial that I see on TV, several baseball players are from there.

The fort is totally my bag, as is the bioluminescent bay. :) I'm staying in Old San Juan. I got a "Rough's Guide" which I will read on the plane. I'm not a good "sit on the beach with an umbrella drink" person --- I like to be walking or swimming or history-ifying. It looks totally beautiful!
