I haven't logged on for some time. I checked my e-mail and immediately clicked on the one from my best friend. She just learned that she'll be staying in the US for an additional 3 years. She's not coming home this September. She's not coming home this Christmas

i feel you. one of my best friends will be leavin this october. i will terribly miss him, but i keep a straight face. everyone's already all showy mushy, i dont wanna be one of them. i'd rather be the optimistic cheery one about it. after all, it's been our dream to rewrite our lives/image/etc in a far away land... i hate it that he's goin, but he has to, and he doesnt need to know right now, that i'd miss him terribly. maybe on the last day, he would. just not now... i feel you.

i feel you, too. my bestest friend is also migrating to the US this October, right after his final performance with his vocal group. I'm meeting him later for coffee..one of the things we enjoy doing together. having coffee starting this October will never be the same for me. *hugs*
