Sadly I've just read of Matt's passing on Bookcrossing.

I am so saddened by the news of Matt's death. I had hoped against failing hope that he would make a full recovery, but it was not to be - such a sad thing, the loss of a man in the full flower of his youth and strength.
My heart goes out to our dear Mary, and to her parents and siblings, mourning the loss of their darling.

May you all find peace after the grief and pain have eased.
