Help wanted for LibraryThing

I have joined but seem unable to post a message. Is there some secret that noone has told me yet but i cannot seem to find a help article for it!

Do you mean in the LT community on LJ, or on LT itself?

There is no general forum on LT, but there are groups, and you can post without joining the group, although your screen name won't show.

Go to the group page (for example, the Bookcrossers group: http://www.librarything.com/groups/bookcrossers). Then click on "post a message". This will appear under every post. The group forums are not threaded (yet, I believe they are working on it), so your post will appear at the bottom.

On LT itself. I have clicked on Post Message but whatever I type does not show up in the box.

Could it be the version of Microsoft Word i am using or is it something much more ordinary than that?

I'm not sure. I don't think it's you, because I've just been having a problem replying to a post in one of my groups. Similar symptoms - the box opens but I can't type in it (and the "touchstone" box isn't there). Oddly, the problem exists with only some of the messages in that group. I've just posted on the Google Group about it.

I am glad that it isn't just me then. I thought I was either doing something wrong or was somehow excluded!
