trying to be excited, or at least not cranky

With a lethal combination of heat, humidity, and hormones, I was not excited about going to the zoo today. But I went and tried not to be too cranky. They seemed to struggle with finding me something to do. They gave me this huge binder of stuff for one client and just told me to familiarize myself with it, which I already had a couple weeks ago,

Sweet offer of your dad's! I would have emailed you with an update, but there's not much to update on - still searching for job and living quarters... my dad officially started at Schwann's today... Gio's job at Lowe's is going great... I applied at Lowe's myself and have an interview at a different place, iSky, today at 2. I'm not too thrilled about that one though. You call people to perform surveys on how they felt about their experience with a company/product all day long. They have a high turnover rate. But they rarely turn any applicants away, so it's pretty much a guaranteed job if nothing else works out, and as unpleasant as it would be, a paycheck's a paycheck, and I could use it as an interim job till something better works out. There are still a couple bank jobs that I turned in resumees for that are not yet filled and I could be getting calls for interviews on, but I'm not banking on them. No pun intended. ;) I also have an advising appointment at COCC tomorrow morning to get my fall schedule figured out. Hopefully there
