There are many cons to leaving a community, the main one is losing touch with friends you once had. I've lost touch with numerous friends throughout my life, both physical and digital. I kinda don't want to do that anymore

I'm glad to hear everything is going well for you! Also I'm glad you're updating again since it seems like every other Rockport person on my f-list has dropped off the face of the planet. XD Most of the people I talk to now on LJ are friends I've made through fandom.

Yeah LJ kida died for me too when we all stopped writing in it. I do want to start writing in it again though. I kinda miss it all. I'm glad your dad finally accepts Ryan now! YAY!!
