A valiant effort, I'm sure, Mr. Mom. :) The good news is Callum will eventually stop playing with his food and start eating it. Although V still plays with hers sometimes. You just have to get used to cleaning floors and high chairs and babies constantly. Seriously though, just let Callum get messy. Strip him naked if you have to. He'll likely end up licking his messy fingers/body and get some taste of food into him. Maybe give him his own small bit to play with and you can stealthily sneak little mouthfuls in while he's amusing himself. We used tons of trick with Vivianne because she was the laziest eater in the beginning, and did a lot to evade the spoon. Hang in there.
I found The Happy Baby Meal Planner to be a good source of recipes... although you'd have to ignore the age breakdown and just start from the beginning. Also, have you seen wholesomebabyfood.com? I find it good.
