I offended someone at work today by seeming dismissive of a question they asked. Only it wasn't a question so much as a judgement of something I said in a meeting in question form. I said what I said because I was being sensitive to processes he himself had previously advocated for this team. For this I feel unappreciated. The feeling will pass

You have more than your fair share of difficult people on your team. I don't dispute that they don't appreciate you as much as they should. But always remember that there are people who think the world of you, who have benefited from your ear and your shoulder. You've helped me through some rough stuff and I am so grateful.
