I got up at 6:30 on Fri. and arrived at the private school (my favorite) for my second day in 4th grade. It was a fairly easy day. The kids had silent reading for an hour (and I took The Fountainhead and got a good start on it). They then had a spelling test and then the math teacher brought over some work for them to do. It was indeed a wonderful night! I was irritable with Homer in the car, which was unfortunate... I can't let Chicago drivers drive me batty, especially if I'm going to be living there! And dude... if you drive like everyone else on 90 to visit me, it'll be an hour tops... dear God, it was crazy!
I've been investigating apartments and roomshares- hopefully I'll find a good sublease that'll allow Oliver and maybe another so I can foster for CNftH while I'm there.
That sushi was soooooooooooooooooo good. I can't put enough emphasis on it, lol. I can't believe all I got was only $15 and change. Seriously! I guess the Mochi ice cream was a disappointment... I think it's meant to be a palate cleanser rather than a full dessert. I almost got one too, lol. I can't wait to come back up and have it again.
And just a note for those reading- Homer was not unhappy by the smell- he loved it, and I loved it. We grew up on a farm and haven't had the farm smell to breathe in for quite some time... it was beautiful!

You can tell I was tired writing that... One sentence makes noooo sense, but oh well. I'll leave it for you to decifer...

And yes, they loved the horsey farm smell, and that just made me so so pleased. :)

And Sammie, I doubt that I drive like everyone else on 90. I pretty much do the speed limit. All the time. Maybe 5 over at times. Hehe. But an hour or two is nothin'.... !!!!!!!!!!!!
