This was adorable and hilarious.

Any fic in which Damon watches Beauty and the Beast and sees his resemblance to Gaston and gets emotional and in which Bonnie is hilarious and wonderful makes my day and my Christmas.

You captured a great balance of light and emotion that's seriously hard to pull off. I don't even ship these darlings "actively" anymore (what that means, don't ask, I'm working through it) but you write them really well.

And OF COURSE I had to compare Damon to Gaston, Damon might be ultimately more likable (with his unfortunate exceptions), but the parallels are too striking to be overlooked. And because Bonnie is my favorite female character she couldn't be anything other than brilliant, I'm pleased you thought she came out right.
