and my real boss is my doctor...

I think the whole idea of getting written up for being sick is silly to begin with. So the employer would rather you come to the office and share the wealth rather than have you stay home, get well, and not get everyone else sick, too.

i really think it is crazy we have a policy on number of sick days in a year considering i work for a hospital...
...make that a hospital in the middle of a city with an incredibly sick population

sad thing is i work in a back office with no contact with the real world...

sneak a little bit of laxatives, ipicac, or hell, iocaine powder into their coffee. let her write herself up then.

actually i was mad at her yesterday as well so when she was gone on lunch i used her phone to make some business calls...
...hopefully my little virus is hanging out in her cubicle with some mad determination to make her sick

only good news out of this is that i may seriously have the drive now to get back in school...
