Well, I did it. I got married. Which is not to say . . . well, technically -- legally -- we've been married for almost a year. At least in Japan, anyway. We did all the paperwork and took it to City Hall, and they stamped it all officially (they didn't even say 'congratulations'), and then we went out to McDonald's. I've said it like, 5 times already, but it bears repeating. I'm still bummed out that I had to miss your wedding, but I can't wait to see more pictures pop up on Facebook. :)

So far, I love the picture of you flinging cake at Dai, and the picture of you guys in "outer space." :P

The lack of printed-out translations is at least half my fault! But everything still turned out full of brightness and happiness and seeing tons of people I haven't seen in forever-ness. Happy wedding, indeed!

I know you would have rather had things more planned ahead of time, but there's something about the struggle that is so much more of a bonding experience! I think I felt more comfortable at your wedding because it WASN'T perfect (no wedding is). Your wedding had personality and I'd take that over perfection any day!

The moment of coming home to YOUR HOUSE, married (twice!) must have been awesome. I hope that you are enjoying the start of married life!
