Much the same as you, here in Columbus, OH I can literally count on my one hand the number of Hillary Clinton supporters I know, yet there are so many Obama and Paul supporters and groups here on the Ohio State campus that I can't believe that Clinton will win the primary here.

I registered as a Republican for this election in order to vote for Ron Paul, but I'm thinking I should have registered as a Democrat for Obama instead. Our primaries are a month away, so the Clinton/Obama race could look different by then.

I spoke to a group of people last night in Nevada City, California, in the heart of Gold Country; the event was open mic night at the Crazy Horse; I brought a guitar and played some tunes. Between songs, I asked the randomly assembled people there if they had voted yesterday. CHEERS. I asked if there were Republicans in the house. CHEERS. I asked if there were Democrats in the house. CHEERS. Nevada City is notoriously liberal you know. I asked if anyone voted for Ron Paul. CHEERS. I asked if anyone voted for McCain. A couple of cheers. I asked if people voted for Obama. CHEERS. I asked if people voted for Clinton. Silence. I asked again if people voted for Clinton. Silence. Then I commented on how notoriously liberal Nevada City was, where were the Hillary voters? Ron Paul was easily the top candidate in the room; he was the clear winner from audience feedback.

I didn't think you could get any cooler.

And then you quoted J. Wellington Wimpy.

I was proven wrong.

Being a Limey, I would like to feel superior about our ploitcal landscape, but can't. That said, The Terbinator speaks the truth.

The US will never allow a black guy into the Oval Office. I'm prepared to eat my words, but I can't see it.

President Terbolizard? Would Iran be fucking with you in the UN then? Hell no.
