Right now my message is for folks to become part of their local elections process, from the precinct level on up, that is our next project, the next thing we have to fix in our country.
As far as my choice in a Clinton/McCain election, well, I never voted for Bush; even as a Republican, I'm not going to vote for someone I don't find appealing. I won't vote for either Clinton or McCain. As much as I like the tradition of the Arizona Maverick Archetype embodied in the late Barry Goldwater Sr., McCain and I differ on so many positions- he's pro-amnesty and pro-war and I'm not, and he's embarrassingly clueless on economic theory- I would have a hard time supporting him; indeed, the word I'm getting from the GOP faithful is "our party is doomed!!!"
My local area is Chicago. It's been interesting to see how many of my friends who normally don't care at all about politics actually blogged about Obama and went to go vote for him, but given how often I've seen his name in my internet circles, I'd have been shocked had it gone any other way.

Also, how sad is it that several people I know tried to vote on Tuesday, before realizing OH HAY Pennsylvania doesn't do super Tuesday?
