Homeschooling in California phsmith10 May 20 2008, 17:37:04 UTC
Hi-Interesting debate on homeschooling. Here is my input as a prospective employer. These children need socializing with people who don't look, believe or think their way. They also need to learn how to work cooperatively with others to get the job done and do so without offending their co-workers. This can be a problem. I am also vehemently opposed to paying for religious schooling for anyone, be it home or private schooling and would expect any elected official I vote for to vote to stop all tax funding for these purposes. I also think that my taxes should go only to public schools, not private or other. If people wish to educate their children alternatively, fine. I am not going to pay for it.
