Is it just me or does CalTrans pick the most inconvenient times possible to close down half the freeway?  From Tuesday until god-knows-when the only freeway that goes by school is narrowed down to one lane, right before University Ave.  From 7 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.  This is proof positive that nobody in that illustrious

Um, those are pretty standard hours for CalTrans to be working. As in I've never seen them working anywhen else, and if they gave you special consideration I'd be pretty ticked since I have to deal with them blocking half the 58 on a commute that's already an hour long.

Basically what I'm saying is that, in this case at least, you ain't getting any sympathy from me, sister.

Down here they tend to do their work at night on all the major freeways except that one apparently.

You have my sympathy. Your drive sucks. They used to block the 58 on the other side when I was going to AV.
