Now here's a question

Should I start a new LJ just for fan fiction, or should I just toss my hair defiantly and post them here?

It's pretty strong stuff. There won't be a lot of it, but because it's not Heroes fic - of which I already have a dedicated LJ - I've decided not to post it there, or use that LJ username ( Read more... )

Where is the journal for your Heroes fiction?

mystery_sock.livejournal.com

And fandom - two whole seasons of liveblogged recaps. And two fanfic series. And several standalones. All of it immeasurably filthy. Ah, Heroes... my bad boyfriend who got put on death row...

If creating an alternate journal for fannish pursuits of that type will give you a sense of freedom, go for it. If it's not that big a deal to you, post it here and save yourself the hassle of having to sign in and out of another journal. Haters to the left!

Do it whichever way... I have a friend who does it all on her main journal, but she filters it so that you can choose to see whichever of her content you're into. Cuts are fine too though. Whatever works best for you.

I would suggest a separate journal for this, or perhaps starting a community and posting there (to keep logins straight). This assumes you want your name tied to the fanfic! (Some people don't.)

Yeah, I kinda don't care anymore. The whole world knows I'm a perv who loves slash, so it's OK now - the whole reason why I started a separate LJ for Heroes fandom was because I had a dream that I could work with the series in a legitimate fashion. Of course that dream is now DEAD... and I haven't got a prayer of working on Sherlock, so no biggie!
