Random revelation about the Christians: when you say that Jesus is the embodiment of God, you're serious, aren't you? Oh, my.
I'm glad I figured that out before commenting about Jesus' soul and presuming that people thought Jesus worked the same way as everyone else in Christendom. Wow. Okay. That changes things a bit, eh?

earthprince: The Catholic God had only one embodiment, and that was Jesus. Your point of humans just being one extension of said God makes sense. But in order to keep the rule of there being one embodiment, and to have that be Jesus, they would have to claim that Jesus only came to Earth, and no other planets.
I was going to reply that, because the story goes that Jesus died and was later resurrected, there must have been at least two "embodiments" - once whenever the soul was first "fused" with the body, and again when it was re-fused and Jesus was resurrected. Then I decided it'd probably be a bright idea to look up this "embodiment", since his comment used it differently than I had (I used it in the fourth sense), and realized that everyone else seemed to be using definitions 1 and 2. The difference is slight, but I've been working off the assumption that when people say the word, they mean it as a metaphor, as it could be said that someone is "Justice personified", or " ( ... )
