I'm currently applying for internships for the fall. People want me to send them writing samples! *does happy, twirly dance* something actually in my field! i have a phone interview with my top choice place today, and my second choice (which would still be great) wants to set up a phone interview next week. the boss is leaving for vacation today at that place. if i get an offer from my top choice, though, there's probably no point in bothering with a phone interview for the other place, not if i'd have to wait a week.

how are classes going?

that's how i feel. if i had most of january off i'd consider working because the extra money would be nice. i actually could take j-term off if i wanted. but i came up with the perfect j-term scenerio:
take my last gym class. they have 10 am-12pm gym classes. take one of those. try to get an intership in the afternoon. have homework-free evenings, nights, and weekends. work a little at the writing center in there. since no one comes to the writing center in j-term, work equals hanging out with my friends at the writing center.
the only way that might change is if i don't get an internship, which means homework-free afternoons as well.

ugh. work. i kinda get it. my brother's working at sesame place this summer cleaning the bathrooms.
eww, dentist.
