I understand your pain. Fortunately, Alex is a wonderful young man, and doesn't trouble me too much when we go out for adult-type visits. He's even gone to some D&D games with me (yes, I know, I'm corrupting him early).

On the other hand, I would love to be able to have some adult time with no child. However, I'm short on babysitters, and my mom (since we live with her) will only keep him infrequently.

And I'm just as bad as you are about keeping in contact with friends. I try to remember to call people, but I never get to see them face-to-face. Or, I just forget to keep in touch (you and me, what?). Speaking of that, we need to get together the next time that you (and your family) are in the ATL.
