Calzones

I have discovered how to make calzones. I've seen Alton Brown make pasties. Bread on the outside and all kinds of delicious stuffings on the inside. I think this brave new world of food is fantastic. Although I give my first batch a B, I know what not to do next time so I expect my next batch to be much much better.

My dad got us the latest Betty Crocker cook book last Christmas. Best. Gift. Ever. We still haven't really touched anything outside of the beef/ chicken/ pasta section. It's a nice change from a year ago when we'd have the same dozen meals over and over and over. "We could have ...um... Chinese?" "Meh." "Well it's that or pasta." "Righto, Chinese it is."

calzones are yummy.

i got a cheaty recipe from a magazine once useing store bought pizza dough or pillsbury pizza crust in the can if you can't find the dough.

I've made mine like 5 times and they're only starting to get ok now.

Keep practicing. I've just started exploring outside of chicken/pasta (don't really do cow personally) myself and I've hit some good spots and then there was what I made last week that got one taste and went straight for the trash.
