I have summed up the movie 300 in one word: Excessive.

That doesn't mean it was bad, it was just ... excessive. It is from a comic book after all. I was reminded, however, of why movie theaters suck. Audiences need to learn to STFU.

During the previews there was this one guy who had a really annoying, loud laugh. I'm not sure if it was on purpose to be funny to his friends or what but humorous moments that rated a wry grin had him cackling loudly. Methinks he would have died a horrible death if he had kept it up.

Some friend of my parents own a home theater company so of course they had to build one in their home as a demo. Oh. My. Word. It is to die for. I doubt I'll ever have anything so nice but at least I have the hook up for cheap(er) parts when I do have a house of my own. I wonder how long it will take before movie theaters go the way of drive ins?
