Home Grown Tomatoes

Yesterday, I was able to harvest our first batch of tomatoes grown in our own garden. I got five very nice red ones of varying sizes, and sliced them all up for the kids to try. Kimberly didn't want any (her loss, I assure you).

Ah, I LOVE home grown tomatoes. There's a flavor to them that you just can't get from the store.

That's cause they pick them GREEN for the stores!

That flavor you can't get from the store? It STILL tastes like tomatoes. I did try one a day or two after this post, from some more tomatoes that were ripe.

Still taste like tomatoes.
