No, my friend - if you are talking about your feelings about a nonAmerican singing for the Americans ... no, what you said was honest about where you were at - you were trying to share what you feel and I got the feeling that you weren't even sure what you felt or why you felt it and you weren't even particularly happy about feeling it. No, Trisha my dear, you did not cause my distress in the least!
