This is proabably mandatory for me to write, so here goes:

Saw X3 friday night with the siblings. Had to take sometime for the geek-excitement to wear off (and no, Jesse and Jill, it was no where near as bad as I had it for X2) before I could make a real opinion.

Didn't like it.

Did you even see the part after the credits? That totally screams subplot and makes a fourth movie mandatory. As best as I can figure, the whole purpose of X3 was to set up for X4.

Hmm....I guess that could be considered a subplot. However, I saw it more as a thread so they could possibly someday have another movie if they really, really felt like it. I have read that this is supposed to be the last "x-men" movie (hence the name "the last stand") while allowing for Wolverine movies ( ... )

I'm certainly not saying that they did an excelent job on this movie. They glossed over big parts of time that should have had more of the story in them. I don't know, maybe I'm just holding out hope that they will do something to finnish this movie so the plot can be complete. Like when there was way too much story in the Phoenix Saga so they made it into a mini-series. I guess I just can't accept that that X3 was all. Maybe Cyclops isn't as dead as we think he is, all I know is that Prof X is alive again, Jean died and came back and died again, there has to be more to the life and times of the X-Men.
