Wait and see. . .prelude2cloud9April 20 2005, 11:13:09 UTC
I'm in a "let's-just-wait-and-see" mode. Me, too. .I was looking forward to having a liberal pope. (Ha, I subscribe to a certain aspect of feminist ideology. . .ordination of women. :D) But I guess a Church needs a strong character, to preserve its doctrines amidst challenges of time. Although, I still think nothing should be absolutist. There's still a line between ordaining women and allowing homosexual marriages.
Oh, well. Dad ko naman. . .go Ratzinger! hehehehehe
Let's just wait-and-see. Maybe he'll be another Pope John Paul II.
Btw, I like your bbc article link. . .Very interesting.

haha, i agree with you. :D so far though, ratzinger hasn't been making any alarming statements. diba he was known for refusing reconciliation with other religions before? well, i think that he wants to continue (ex)pope john paul II's footsteps in terms of religious dialogues. that's a good thing, right? :D
