The timing between the drivers' green left turn arrow and walker's white walk light isn't working properly -- but depending on the direction you're walking, you can't tell.

It was dark and raining Tuesday night, and the driver didn't see me crossing the street. And since I was crossing in the direction I couldn't see the left turn arrow...*boom*

Yeah, I'm fine. No bruises, even. Like I told leas_new_end, the problem is corruption: the idiots who put in the light got the contract based on bribery, so they didn't time the left turn arrow with the walker's light correctly. Just shaky. (I always thought that was a figure of speech, not literal.)
