the helm and the shield are still works in progress. I have more work to do on the helm ..obviously due to the unfinished look and missing bondo on the dome and the full Apoxie Sculpt finish with all the detail....and the sheild is just awaiting the 1/4" 38" round Sintra sheet to lay over it...the reason I made my interior frame the way I have is so that the "framing" willsupport the plastic and as it lays down on it while it's hot it will get the shape I want.
2 more weeks and I should be able to start reproductions. more pics as the
progress continues

Nice work. and the bondo stuff is sandable? did youuse your dremel to sand the bondo top? and the shield frame construction is tough. hats off to you. KEEP Up the Good Work SPARTAN!!!

Yes the bondo is sandable after about 1 1/2 hrs after it is put on. Like I said before...mix it and get it on quick though...it will harden faster the more red hardner cream you mix in. I always mix in more then you should..just to make it harden better...but the workable time on it gets seriously cut down when you do that
