So. I've been thinking a lot about moving. At this point, L.A. is the winning contender - mainly because E. is there. Working in the mountains and being away from Santa Cruz has provided me with the opportunity to figure out why I feel like I'm suffocating in SC. I felt that way about Santa Cruz after being in the vicinity only a few months ( ... )

oh yes. the traffic. that is one of the major drawbacks. i briefly entertained the thought of moving to oregon, but a)i'd have to find housing up there as opposed to moving in with e., b)i don't have friends there (all i need is one!), and c)i want to live some place different than santa cruz, just to challenge myself and see what comes out of it. your description of l.a. makes it sound more appealing than i imagined =). anyways, i'm visiting before i make up my mind...though i am the type of person who just leaves and hopes things will work out.
