Myself, the Cosplayer (Part 2)

7. The character you have cosplayed that is most similar to you (if none that you have cosplayed, then one that you will cosplay)
I need to pick two.  First, I chose Arche for being a bit of an outcast in her world.  Where she grew up, she wasn't like anyone else and was a bit chastised for it.  Despite not fitting in, Arche remained true to herself.   As a character, she is comic relief, the spunky one, and most importantly--herself.  I think I fit this role.

I chose Kihel from a more circumstantial standpoint than a characteristic one.  She lost her father very suddenly, then soon after was forced to make many big decisions and stay strong, regardless to how weak she was feeling.  It may seem strange to compare a promotion at a coffee shop, purchasing a car and getting a drivers' license to taking on an active role as a political leader and the queen of a moon race, but it was a pretty big deal to me as I'm sure it was to Kihel.

8. Your cosplay plans for the rest of the year (if you have no more for this year, then do next year!)
-Lucy from Fairy Tail (orange shirt and blue skirt version) and Natalia from Tales of the Abyss for Otakon
-Shino from .hack//Roots and SURPRISE COSPLAY! for Youmacon

9. The dream cosplay that might just happen
Erza Scarlet in the Heaven's Wheel armor.  Finishing my first dream costume was so exhilariating that nothing else has really compared.  I know this will be hard but I truly believe that I can do it.

10. The dream cosplay that will never happen
I'm too stubborn to admit that there might be something I can't make.  I won't tell myself I can't do it.  Not in this hobby.

11. Something cosplay-related that you will never do (eg. crossplay, cosplay from a certain series)
Catgirl.  Hell no, you won't ever see me dressed as a catgirl.

12. Your cosplay idol.
Almost all of my cosplay friends have been in the hobby much longer than I have and I always look up to them for inspiration and advice.  I hope that I too can be as good as they are someday.

13. Your cosplay specialty (ie. something that seems to apply to a large amount of your cosplays, it could be a specific series, or a common feature in their appearance, such as glasses)
Oh, come on.  Isn't this one obvious?
Pink and princesses.  I'M TRYING TO BREAK AWAY FROM IT.  IT KEEPS HAPPENING.  Honest to God, I thought I wasn't supposed to grow up to be a girly-girl.  Here, look at this.  It's almost embarrassing.

14. Your cosplay-making habits (eg. singing while working on cosplay)
I work best with music.  TV distracts me too much, but with the right music going I get plugged into my project and can go for a few hours.  I've also found that I work better late at night when the house is quiet.
