Most of you probably already know, but I've decided to compete my Tales of the Abyss costumes at Youmacon this year.  I'm pretty excited, but the con is a few weeks away and I've yet to make the repairs on the costumes I've intended to do for the past two months.  It isn't really a lot... I have to make a coat, two belts, sew in a few snaps, and

I look for inspiration in costumes by those I admire most.

Sometimes, taking a long walk in a place surrounded by nature helps to inspire me whenever I feel unmotivated.

Visiting a fabric store may also help get the creative juices flowing, in the case of something that's specifically geared towards that.

I wanted to compete my Redmage at youmacon but am having the same problem. I just...don't want to work on it. :< And unliek just repairing something, I have to make a whole costume. uuuugh. I just can't find the motivation to CARE.
