Be sure to bring me back one of them $5000 hammers. I've always wanted to see what one of those was like.

We don't do "hammers", but if we did I'd bring one back for you.

I do $5000 hammers. And $5000 watches. I know, isn't being a government employee freaking awesome. I love it.

I'm on Maxiflex, which basically means I just have to work 80 hours every 2 weeks, doesn't matter how.

Maxiflex sounds like something you'd find in the "feminine care" aisle.

First, I agree with Kat.

Second, we don't "do" timeclocks either, so everything's pretty much on the honor system. Hell, we don't even have an official dress code. My supervisor sort of thinks we should dress like engineers, but nobody would say anything if I came in to work with a t-shirt and jeans on.

Now that I think about it, we probably have some of those $5000 hammers, but they're all in the production department which has scary macines that will eat me. Literally.

Well, Dominion the power company (distinguished by the Blue D with the exploding finger on the sides of vehicles) is the main power provider for at least Virginia, DC, parts of North Carolina, and Connecticut. So they're pretty spread out. Virginia itself is known as "Old Dominion" so they tend to just slap "dominion" on everything that comes out of there.

And my lunch money shall never be stealed! Not on my watch at least!
