I just finished watching the movie "Children of Men." As action movies go, I really liked it.

I love that Netflix gets me to watch all sorts of indie movies that I would otherwise never hear about. They keep my mind in a good place.

Anyway, time to go shave off some facial hair.

One of my friends realized this morning that he was going to be in Seattle instead of Vancouver tonight and that it was his father's yarzheit. Trump and Yevgenia came in last weekend which was awesome. Did the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the Underground Tour. We also went shooting (all of our first times) and that was fun. Work is a bit hellish at the moment getting stuff done between their visit and Shavuot but soon I will get to sleep solidly. I am so tired....

I've been reading A Short History of Nearly Everything, a book that Bay lent me. I've decided that seeing things as they are is scary enough to drive one mad.

Now I know that I ride the short-bus to work. I was sitting there on the way home and I realized that all I heard was the clacking of fingers on laptop keyboards. No talking, nobody on the phone: just clackity, clackity, clack!

Ack! I am sunburned in a great multitude of places! I guess the hat I was wearing was not enough to protect me. Damn my pale pale skin...

So I gathered up a tiny posse (Josh & Sushanth) and we walked down to the U District street fair. All in all, it was pretty amazing. The weather was beautiful, there were some awesome things to see, I ran into people I knew, and I got some roasted corn on the cob! Geeze roasted corn on the cob takes me back...
