As you know, I've restarted my journaling activities and have also been cross-posting here whatever I put on Facebook under my LJ filter. However, my latest sentiment is that I may stop the posting of entries on LJ and post them exclusively here. I'm still undecided.
Yeah, I'm flirting with the idea to come here to do some cathartic venting that isn't exactly general audience material. Years ago I told myself I would put my writing efforts either in my general blog on my personal website/domain, or stick to a my own personal daily journal. While I do journal for myself, still not the same intimacy in sharing thoughts as doing that here. Just need to find the time to do that - new job is keeping my pretty busy even during a pandemic and impending downturn.
Yes - I mean posting them on Facebook. The only thing that is keeping me there, really, is allowing the close friends to read and comment since none of them really check LJ anymore. At the same time, I'm trying to realize that I really should be journaling for myself. I've come to appreciate a certain joy of nostalgia I get when I go back and re-read what I wrote 10-15 years ago. It also makes me sad that I wasn't writing as much when my life went through so much change in 2012 to 2016.
I hear ya on the job front, and it's generating mixed feelings for sure.
