I am officially back home!
Jessica and I ran off on a vacation to Orlando (Islands of Adventure!) for a long weekend, and it was seriously the best thing in the world. It's what entire summer vacations should be made of.
We got to go eat at both of Emeril's restaurants in Orlando (Tchoup Chop and Emeril's Orlando) -- and honestly, Tchoup Chop is probably the best food I've ever eaten, ever. It was a great way to start the first night of the vacation!
Afterwards, there were plenty of rides at Islands of Adventure (thank god for express passes that let you cut the regular lines), and all sorts of things including a trip to down-town Disney and visiting the huge Lego store.
Huge lego stores are just about the coolest things out there, honestly.
Anyway, I had an amazingly awesome time. Just an incredible amount of fun and I was sad that we had to leave.
Being back home? Not quite as fun, but that's to be expected! My brother and co. are staying here until the 29th, I guess, and I'm less than excited about it, I guess you could say. Suddenly adding four people (Brother, brother's girlfriend person, daughter and son) is way too much.
Way too much fightig and noise and nobody cleans up properly so I end up walking around the house and doing it all as I go.
Makes me want to go back to Gainesville right now.
But hey, at least the vacation was absolutely amazing! Jess makes everything better.
