Curitiba -- land of rain, jiujitsu, beef, and impossibly complex transactions

It's been raining non-stop since my arrival in Curitiba. And I am being literal here; I have yet to leave the house and have it not be raining. So even if I had the energy to go around town (which I can't say I do), it wouldn't be very enjoyable. Perhaps the sandwich sticker was price per 100 grams or so.

Nope. The price I was ultimately charged was exactly what was on the sticker.

Hi Terrence-long time lurker on your blog. I always find it an interesting and informative read. You are an impressive dude in many ways. But I now need to pop in to say: go to Copacabana!

You've got the rest of your life (or at least until you lose all muscle mass at 75-80 years) to hang out in deserted gyms, but the time window to party all night with twenty-something beautiful women without having them call the police is much less.
