I have been revisiting my much-earlier writing days, and reverting to poetry.  Here's the first poem I have written in nearly 30 years:

That is lovely, and feels very true. What strikes me most about it is the deliberately unfinished quality; your refusal to use periods to mark sentences. Somehow, that's very powerful.

Anyway, great imagery! I am becoming more and more aware of the importance of listening as a creative act.
