George Carlin, 1937-2008

Adding to the shock of Tim Russert's death, now we have George Carlin. I first discovered the guy in the movie Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure way back in the late '80s as the time-traveling sage "Rufus." I like to think that if there was a Heaven and it WAS just like people think, made of clouds, big golden gate with St. Peter letting people in, along comes George, tells Peter "It's been 2000 years, man, don't worry. I got the next 2000 as gate keeper. Go get yourself a cheeseburger and porno mag."
Carlin would make an awesome bouncer for the afterlife.
