So when I got home from work, my gas gauge is still a sliver above the "e", and I've got 417 miles. It's a ten-gallon tank, so it's not hard to crunch the math: roughly 42 miles per gallon. Not quite Prius territory, but doing "standard" driving, I'd get roughly 320 miles on one tank. I've raised my fuel economy by about ten miles per gallon, and

I finally filled up today. I went a total of 445 miles on 10.5 gallons of gas. That's 42.38 miles per gallon. The car is rated for 34 highway. Here here!

Wow, that's....kind of unreal, man! My car usually gets right around 30 mpg on average for the tank, but bumping that up would certainly be welcome.
