Time Flies.

My father is sixty years old today. We'll be leaving soon for a big family visit. In a nice bit of role-reversal, we bought him a Nintendo Wii along with a Tiger Woods golf game. Shortly after I turned 30, I realized, "I'm halfway to 60."

Immediately afterwards I thought, "When I was 15, I didn't think, ‘OMG I'm halfway to 30.’"

Time has a way of making itself necessary.

I think we're right at the point in a person's life where you really start to realize just how short life really is. I have a peer group that ranges from 20-60+. It really informs your perspective.

Yes, it seems the longer you live the more aware of time you become, and so it hastens.
