Last night I watched "The Lives of Others," a movie about artists/writers in 1984 East Berlin. I really enjoyed this movie. Sebatian Koch is definitely hot. He and another german actor (Thomas Kretschmann) are hot and German, and so they frequently actually Nazis, particularly the more recent brand of 'sympathetic" or "not as bad" Nazi.

I watched this last year, and I just looked up my review of it. I think you had a much deeper appreciation of this film than I did. Your review makes me wonder if I should give it another go.

Oh that's right! Koch was in the Black Book, wasn't he? Did he play the Nazi who the main character fell in love with? I doubt you will like it if you didn't originally-- I'm convinced that I'm particularly easy to impress/please.
