I've seen individuals change, so I'm not giving up. But like I said, I can afford to keep up the fight. I don't have to fear for my life on a traffic stop...and ten thousand other places. My sex makes me vulnerable...but having reached the age of invisibility and being large, strong and tough, I'm less vulnerable than most women.

I'm going to grieve a bit, but fuck if I will stop pushing for those who can't afford to. One goddamn starfish at a time until I die.
