My full name is actually Kristen, but everyone calls me Krissy. My family always calls me Kris, but if anyone else does it I will literally not understand that you are talking to me. So...don't unless you want me to stare at you awkwardly for like 5 minutes and then be like OH OH AHAA YOU MEAN ME...ALSO: STOP CALLING ME THAT >:(
02. How do you style your hair?
Blow dry & straighten. Now that my hair is like 10 inches shorter this takes NO TIME AT ALL. I love it.
03. What's new in your life right now?
Not much! I am incredibly boring oh god, I seriously can't think of anything. I'm...going home this weekend? Today I discovered I can make my hair really curly by pinning it back with bobby pins?
04. How many colors are you wearing now?
Ummmmm 2ish. I'm wearing jeans and a black Iron Man tshirt from the little boy's section at Target. RANDOMLY: I love little boy's clothes because they are infinitely hilarious to me. They're all like, skulls and guitars and skateboards; I laugh at my kid's clothes all the time because they're all the same! RRrhAgghhh WE'RE BOYS AND WE'RE TOUGH LOOK AT THIS SKULL IT'S ON FIRE AND HAS A CHECKER-PRINT BACKGROUND RARRHGHGH TOUGH MANLY BOY CLOTHES
05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
INTROVERT oh goodness. I was one of those terribly awkward kids who sat in the corner and read all the time and only had one friend. And I still am today!
06. What was the last book you read?
Their Eyes Were Watching God for my African-American lit course, which I weirdly enjoyed. It reminds me a lot of The Awakening.
07. Do you nap a lot?
Ahahaha I am like the queen of accidental naps.
08. If the person you secretly like is already taken, what would you do?
Pine awkwardly and never mention it to anyone ever? Idk this has never happened to me :|
09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
OH GOD WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE I am going to live in a box made of ripped-up pages of great literary texts for the rest of my days and have to eat the covers for nourishment
Which is to say lately I have been worried that I might not be able to do what I want for a living, but I am determined to try anyway!
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
A cup of really awful coffee and a chocolate bar. God okay I have this thing about coffee. This thing where I love it to the point that I will drink totally shitty, burnt-smelling, pitch-black gunky, tastes-like-someone-peed-in-a-filter coffee because some stupid part of me is convinced it will taste awesome. This actually extends to lots of other foods too but coffee, oh man, it is my weakness. I have a problem.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Depends on where I'm going! If I'm trying to look nice, probably about 15-20 minutes. If I don't give a fuck (hello 8:30 classes) like....2.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
LJ, facebook, a couple of music blogs.
13. What classes are you taking right now? And if you're not in school anymore, what's your job?
Intermediate Japanese, an African-American lit survey course, and Intro to Studio Art. I'm really enjoying all three of them at the moment, even if the people in my Japanese class keep on harassing me while totally drunk and then forgetting about it the next day in class.
14. Do you like to clean?
Yes. but I am lazy as fuck, so I usually live in moderate filth for a while before going on a cleaning rampage.
15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
"So What" by Pink. One of my first graders was humming it (tunelessly ahahaa) AND I STILL GOT IT STUCK IN MY HEAD. Basically all anyone has to do is say the song title and it is instantly stuck in my head these days.
16. What are you doing right now?
Looking up reference photos for an art project and doodling.
17. What's better: eternal love or memorable love?
Eternal! Man, I'd rather have somebody stick around for a while and be awesome together then just be awesome for a little bit.
18. What would you do if you see $100 lying on the ground?
STEALING FROM COURTZ KIND OF: It depends! I'd probably try to see if it belonged to someone first since my dad would somehow psychically beam disapproval into my head if I didn't, but...I dunno. I don't like being a jerk :/
19. Best time of your life?
Anytime Linz came to visit. Barring that, probably working with the kids this summer at the park--god, I like...seriously love those morons. So much. I sound incredibly creepy, but when they told me they wanted me to come back next summer it basically made my fucking year. KIDS. I MISS YOU.
20. Favorite ice cream topping?
Chocolate and nuts, even though I am allergic to most of them...ohhh delicious almonds, I don't care that you make my mouth ridiculously itchy! Let's party sometime.
